As an American original classic, the American Bowie knife has its roots deep in the hard old West, where it was born of a knife fight. However, the bowie knife has proven useful for nearly any task including skinning and hunting. The Raptor Bowie is Damascus forged 1095 HC steel and 15N20 alloy steel which provides the best hardness and sharpness in any blade. Buffalo horn adorns the handle grip, along with solid brass that is polished to a smooth and reflective surface. As always, this is a fully handmade knife, made from naturally occurring materials. Each one is made one at a time, no matter how long it takes to perfect the knife.
